Harvest 2017 complete!

Short and sweet … harvest 2017 was never going to be a big one as our vines, like many others in the UK and Europe, were hit by frost during late April….its painful for us, as I know already I’ll not have sufficient still wines next year to meet growing demand….but on the positive side I’m really excited about some of the innovative and new approaches we are trying in our wine making this year under the guidance of my new wine consultant, Salvatore Leone, from Italy … he has so many ideas I don’t know where to begin!  Suffice to say, keep an eye out in the coming months for some interesting new things coming out of Albourne Estate!
