Vermouth Adventure at The Plotting Parlour – 29th October 2019

We would like to invite you to a special collaborative event to celebrate the wonders of vermouth. Whether vermouth is an old favourite or something completely new, all are welcome to come learn, drink and play at this special event centred around our English Vermouth, 40.

On 29th October we will be taking over the top floor of The Plotting Parlour for an evening based around Albourne 40 Vermouth and of course, lots of delicious cocktails. We have been recently working with Jake Goldstein to develop some signature cocktails that make 40 Vermouth sing harmoniously with other flavours, showcasing what it has to offer, available at £5 each on the night. If this isn’t enough Ben Arthur and his award-winning team at The Plotting Parlour will also be creating lavish serves for the evening. What they can do is incredible and we are truly looking forward to seeing what they come up with for the night.

As well as the fantastic drinks collaboration we will also be hosting intimate tastings during the evening every half an hour. During this session you will get up close and personal with botanicals and taste individual elements used to create the vermouth, as well as a neat tasting. The tasting table will be led by Albourne’s owner, Alison Nightingale, so you will get a really in depth knowledge of Albourne’s 40 and of vermouth in general. At the end Jake will present one of the new signature cocktails and give samples to all, so you can make some amazing vermouth cocktails at home.

We hope that you can join us for this special evening. Tickets are priced at £5 are available via Eventbrite.   For this bargain price you will receive a full size welcome cocktail, a vermouth tasting with Alison and Jake, cocktail samples and reduced price drinks at the bar.
